We are currently
looking for a vehicle Infotainment senior hardware engineer for our Research
& Development team. In this role, you will be using the latest technologies
and advanced methods to develop the safest cars in the world, and offer our
customers a genuine driving experience. Together with other engineers from
around the world you will be a key contributor to the next generation of our
customer’s premium cars, creating innovative human-centric car technology that
makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people.
The vehicle
infotainment system contains a growing set of functionality including
entertainment, speech, navigation, connectivity/connected applications, driver
information, vehicle functions and much more. As we move into the future, the
infotainment system transforms into a virtualized system on chip that connects
to the car backbone with advanced, high bandwidth interfaces.
As a vehicle
Infotainment, senior hardware engineers you are part of a cross functional
agile team that includes program managers, software function designers, system
designers and hardware experts. You will be responsible for securing quality of
the products by leading design reviews, support quality & certification
continuous development, discuss with experts, set up test plans, judge test
results, work with design pre-requisites / design specifications and follow up
with suppliers. Deep dives into the electronic and mechanical aspects of the
Infotainment system hardware are also part of the assignment. You will work
closely with suppliers and be part of an international team to secure
development of Infotainment systems hardware.
Some travel may be
required in this position
Job details
· Lead
Infotainment system hardware development in the area of infotainment platform
and base concept requirements
· Coordinate
with development partners, in-house development and validation activities
· Analyze and
judge test results based on a set of requirements
· Specify
requirements for a range of categories relevant for the infotainment system
· Assisting
other departments with tasks related to the infotainment system
Requirements
Requirements – Must list

- University
degree within embedded electronics hardware or electronics hardware design and
experience of working with development within these areas
- Minimum 5
years of experience from the car industry or consumer market HW development
- Understanding
of high speed digital design and power supplies
- Basic
knowledge about wireless technologies
- Good
communication skills
- Fluent in
English
- Experience
of FMEA, DV/PV test, ISO-TS
- Bachelor’s
degree in Engineering
Good to
have list (short, and real must, no order)
- Software
product line architecture and variants management
- Experience
from working with Continuous Integration
- Experience
within Automotive Infotainment
- Experience
from connectivity technologies like Bluetooth stacks, WiFi and phone mirroring
technologies
- Driver’s
license for Car (B-level)
