Job Description
At our customer's Technical
Center in Darmstadt, they develop battery management systems that control
batteries for cars and heavy vehicles. With decades of experience in batteries,
they have worked with the most renowned vehicle manufacturers around the globe.
They now need to strengthen
their team and are looking for a software Requirements Engineer to join their
team responsible for developing the battery management system compliant with
safety standards using the ASPICE framework.
You will have close
collaboration with vehicle OEMs developing electric vehicles. The products
developed at Tier-1
Supplier will be installed
and running on hybrid and electric vehicles. You will see the resulting
projects through to production and commercialization with OEM our partners.
Your role
- Contribute to delivering a new generation of the battery management system
- Work as a member of a globally distributed team designing and developing
automotive software for leading car manufacturers
- Developing software requirements specifications, functional specifications,
and software design documents
- Support development team to design and develop high-quality software
products in CI/CD environment
- Establish traceability of unit, module, software, and system specifications
- Interact with different stakeholders of the project and ensure requirements
are traced to the development and testing work packages
- Participate in the review of system requirements, software architecture,
and design
Requirements
Requirements – Must
list (short, and really must, no order)
- M.Tech or B.Tech in ECE/EEE/CS or similar
- 5+ years of Experience with automotive embedded systems
- Extensive experience in requirements management using Polarion
- Experience with software architecture using tools like Enterprise
Architect
- Experience with product portfolio and variants management
- Experience with version control and change management tools
- Awareness of functional safety and ASPICE processes
Good to have
- Knowledge of Tri-core microcontrollers like Infineon AURIX TC2xx and TC3xx
- Knowledge of battery management system ECU
- Experience with design and testing of the software module
- Experience with RTOS and UML design
- Experience with static analysis of source code
- Basic skills in the German language
