Job Description
Senior Level – Cybersecurity Engineer
- Define
and drive the organization’s product cybersecurity strategy, ensuring alignment
with overall business objectives
- Provide
leadership and direction to cybersecurity teams, promoting a culture of
collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate
with executive leadership to prioritise and allocate resources for cybersecurity
initiatives.
- Evaluate
key performance indicators (KPI) to track the progress and effectiveness of
cybersecurity initiatives.
- Represent
the Organization at Industry events & and conferences, contributing to thought
leadership in the CS field.
- Develop
and maintain strategic partnerships with external organizations to facilitate
knowledge sharing and best practices in the Automotive Industry
Requirements
Requirements - Must have
- Strong foundational knowledge of cybersecurity
concepts & best practices (linked closely with Automotive Industry)
- Familiarity with automotive systems, Technology
& Communication protocols (CAN, LIN; FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet and
others)
- Knowledge of regulations/standards (SAE/ISO) and
associated regulatory frameworks such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE
WP29.
- High-level knowledge of Vehicle Type approval certification
requirements compliant with UNECE R155, R156
- Experience with TARA, Vulnerability assessments,
penetration testing and risk management
- Strong Problem solving & Analytical skills,
with the ability to think critically & adapt to evolving threats
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills,
with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Good to have
- Good understanding of Vehicle Product
Lifecycle – Concept, Design, Development, Production, Maintenance and De-commissioning
- Experience with CS tools & platforms (Kali
Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark)
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH
or Comp TIA Security+
- Familiarity with Cloud security principles and
Technologies (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
- Experience in working with change management
tools such as JIRA or equivalent
- Strong understanding of Automotive ECUs either
from an OEM or Tier 1, Tier 2 Automotive suppliers would be highly
preferable
- Good understanding of IOT devices & their
security concepts
- Strong working experience of working in the
security function/s and spent time handling security incidents and
security threat management would be highly preferred
- Familiarity with cyber-security engineering;
identifying threat vectors and conducting threat analysis and risk
assessment in conjunction with the functional safety engineering
team.
- Participation in Automotive cybersecurity
research, conferences or industry events, showcasing thought leadership
and expertise will be highly preferred!
