We're
looking for talented, digital minds like you to contribute to the System Base
team, to specify and develop the standardized cockpit electronics and
Infotainment software system for future vehicle E/E architectures across all
Customer’s Group brands. The team is responsible for a broad field of base
functions like Operating Systems (Linux, AUTOSAR, Android, QNX), Performance,
Stability, Power Management, Virtualization, Tracing and Logging of the Cockpit
Infotainment System.
For this
particular position, we are looking for a "Safety Architect" who will
be responsible to define and evaluate safety related features on Infotainment
Computing platform. Setup safety processes with suppliers.
Your role
• Analysis of system requirements or item defination of infotainment
electronic control unit
• Perform safety analysis to identify causes of failures and effects of
faults on system
• Technical safety concept shall be defined at hardware level and software
level of the system
• Technical safety requirements shall be derived and allocated to hardware
and software components
• Specify interfaces between hardware and software
• Derive safety mechanisms to detect, indicate and control faults of system
• Define safety validation plan
• Verify technical safety requirements and system architecture
• Validation of safety goals at system level
Requirements – Must
list (short, and real must, no order)
• A degree of Bachelor’s in Engineering in ECE, EEE, CS or similar
• 10+ years of experience in system architecture and software engineering, in
the area of infotainment systems
• Has experience with HARA [Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment] to identify
ASIL level of system components
• Has experience with safety analysis using FMEA [Failure Mode Effects
Analysis], FTA [Fault Tree Analysis]
• Has experience with low level drivers porting and programming for different
target platforms
• Has experience with different operating systems like Linux, Android,
Autosar
• Hands on experience with ALM tools like Codebeamer to capture safety
plan, technical safety specifications and test specifications
• Hands on experience with design tools like EA to capture system
architecture adhering to functional safety specifications
• Hands on experience with Integration and testing at hardware software
level, system level and vehicle level
• Hands on experience in providing evidence of implementation of safety
mecahnisms representing the performance, effectiveness and robustness of the
system
• Collaboration with software team and hardware team to develop safety compliant
components of system
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
Good to have
• A degree of Master’s in Engineering in ECE,
EEE, CS or similar
• Experience with development and
testing of software features of infotainment ECU
• Experience with project
management tools like JIRA
• Ideally process-know how
within ASPICE and agile development methods
• Communication skills in German
